# Models

> Enable chat models for the organization and optionally add provider API keys.

Administrators choose which chat models the organization may use, and optionally supply provider API keys.

## Enable models

Go to **Admin Center** → **Models**.

Your plan includes model **bands** (for example Standard or Advanced). Only models in allowed bands can be turned on. Enable the models people should see in Chat, and pick a default.

Save before leaving the page. Users only see models you enabled, and group settings can narrow that list further for the User role.

## Bring your own key

On plans that include BYOK, you can store provider credentials for the organization instead of using platform keys. Add or replace a key per provider on the Models page. Deleting a key removes that provider until you add another.

  Keys are stored encrypted for the organization. Do not paste keys into chat or documents.

If a model is listed but locked, the current plan band does not include it. Upgrade on **Plan & usage** or pick a model in an allowed band.
